Marcos de Niza H.S. nominated for 18 National Youth Arts Awards

HAVE YOU HEARD THE BIG NEWS!!!!????

Marcos de Niza H.S. was nominated for 18 National Youth Arts Awards and is the recipient of 5!!

  • Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical–Zack Mauck as Seymour in “Little Shop of Horrors”
  • Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical–Jordan Scott as Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors”
  • Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play–Alexandra Boles as Gayle and Rhonda in “Almost, Maine”
  • Outstanding Ensemble — MdN’s “Little Shop of Horrors”
  • Outstanding Set Design–Jeff Dobbs for MdN’s “Little Shop of Horrors”

The Western Regional NYA Awards ceremony will be September 7th at 7:30 pm at Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix.  Winners  and nominees get a comp ticket and tickets for everyone else are $12 in advance/$15 at the door.  You can rsvp for the ceremony and buy tickets at http://www.nationalyouththeatre.com/news/news_nya_awards2014_rsvp_phoenix.asp
