All ACTORS in a play and/or musical are required to write a "bio"/ personal biography. These biographies should showcase who you are, your past theatrical experiences, training (acting, singing, dancing, etc.), classes (drama, choir, band, etc.), and antic dotes (personal philosophies, favorite quotes, special thanks, etc.). Write what you think fits you as a person, as a performer or even as your character - although, it must be school appropriate. Your bios will be located in the program with your headshots.
is a senior this year. Her past shows at Marcos include Anything Goes in which she played “Virtue” & “Jan” in Grease. Last Year she participated in two community theatre shows: Fiddler on the Roof with the AZ Jewish Theatre Co. in which she played the loving mother “Golde”, and in Valley Youth Theatre’s Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs as the evil “Queen”. She’s enjoyed her experiences with the performing arts department and is going to miss it. She bestows her smelly size 10 character heels, and her bloomers to the one and only Mrs. Mecham, who has taught her that “No matter what happens off or on the stage, the show must go on”. Thank you!
I’m a sophomore here at Marcos de Niza. I was in the musical last year as a chorus member, and this year I was thrilled to make a lead. I’ve always loved singing and dancing and acting. It’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of this show! I’d like to thank my family for supporting me in all that I do. Without their help and the support of my friends I wouldn’t be able to do any of this! I want to thank all of you who share a passion for theater and a desire to keep it alive. Enjoy the show!
Tim Hoglund is a senior at Marcos de Niza High School. This is “Timmy the Tooth’s” 2nd musical. “Timmy the Tooth” has no cavities because he brushes daily. The only role he has ever been is “Schroeder” in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. He is currently in Chamber Choir and A Cappella Choir. He is also deeply in love (with golf).
This is Joseph’s 2nd MdN musical. He played ”Moonface” in last year’s Anything Goes. He would like to thank such a great cast and excellent directors. Way to go Mr. McChesney!
